This latest generation gets new styling, inside and out. The Lexus RX 350 cabin is now home to even more luxury than before, with a very nice fit and finish. This midsize crossover SUV also introduces new infotainment, driver assistant technology, and convenience features. The fifth-generation RX 350 also introduces a new turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine (275 horsepower, 317 pound-feet of torque), which uses an eight-speed automatic transmission to power the front wheels (all-wheel drive is optional).
There are five trim models: Base, Premium, Premium+, Luxury, and F Sport Handling. The Base model is handsomely equipped with safety aids, the new infotainment system, and luxury comfort features. Inside, you’ll find tri-zone automatic climate control, faux-leather seating, and ambient interior lighting.
The all-new Lexus Interface infotainment system is standard for every trim model, delivering a 9.8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. With the connected services plan, you’ll enjoy a Wi-Fi hotspot, a cloud-based Drive Connect navigation system, Remote Connect features (including remote ignition), Safety Connect features (including collision notification and assistance). A 12-speaker sound system is also standard.
The new Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is also standard. It includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, lane departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, and automatic high beams. The latest RX 350 also comes standard with blind-spot warning and a rear passenger safe exit system. The latter is designed to prevent rear-seat passengers from opening a door when a vehicle is approaching.
