The Ford F-350 is often considered to be better than the F-250 for its more powerful engines, higher towing capacity, and higher payload capacity. Is that to say that an F-350 is for everyone? No, not necessarily, many times an F-250 can reliably get the jobs done. However, the old adage, it is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it often applies. Many consumers will purchase an F-250 because it gets the job done for their current need, when only a few years down the road, a bigger job comes along and the F-250 just does not cut it. This is why many hard workers, and heavy haulers will spring for the heftier F-350 right out of the gate.
